New Website Design and Build the Process

We create a powerful online presence for our clients, ensuring they stand out from the crowd nad maximise their visibility. We realise that verifiable track record is essential to our business, and are proud of the good reputation we have earned, by consistently delivering high quality products and services to our clients, on time and within budget. After the initial enquiry we will arrange a meeting to discuss the client’s requirements for both form and functionality of the proposed new website. We will talk about such things as Domain names, Hosting Plans, Timescales and costs.

Following the initial meeting we will prepare a visual layout design. Many years of experience has taught us that there is no comparison between a visual on paper and the real thing and for that reason we will publish it to one of our testing servers for the client to evaluate. It is important to realise that the visual appearance is never set in stone and we would never expect it to be. Almost always there will be many changes to be made along the way.

When all concerned are confident that the design and functionality are reasonably stable we will commence on the next stage, building site. Again this is not set in stone. For simple brochure type websites such as this one Alogic Plumbing the work can be completed in a few days. For more complex websites such as this one MX 3D Models the work will take considerably longer.

Finally when the website is deemed to be fit for purpose we will move the website from our testing server to one our own secure servers for the launch. However this is not the end of the process all the websites we build are based on and content management system (CMS). This gives the client the option of editing the content (words, images, files etc.) themselves. I most cases the client will require some on-site tuition, which you will be pleased to know is free of charge. Of course in cases where the client is not confident to edit the content we are happy to do the work ourselves.
